MTV discovers Portland, let’s hope we are not the next Seattle
They hit up the right bands -
Eat Skull, White Fang, White Rainbow, Menomena, Panther, Honey Owens, Starfucker, Horse Feathers, Southern Belle, M Ward, Thermals, Fist Fite, Malkmus. And yet there is more than just white indie, folk, electronic, alt-rock in Portland. Where were the Lifesavas for instance?

is there suppose to be a video here… fuck. I guess my computer or browser needs updating. Anyway if MTV loves Portland does that mean some of the bands can get signed and move to NYC? I hope so… please god let there be room for something other than mediocre (indie) synth pop folk…
