Horse Feathers Album Release Show Oct 3rd @ Holocene
Tonight at Holocene, Horse Feathers play their new album release party with Dolorean and Matt Bauer.
As much as I enjoy Horse Feathers I have to say that Al James’ and his band Dolorean are a much overlooked band here in Portland. To coin a clichéd phrase it’s a crime that there isn’t more awareness for these guys and their music. Whatever your tastes in music tonight this is a very strong bill and worthy of your money and time.

Hi Dave,
I went to the Horse Feathers CD release to see what the buzz was about and was more impressed with the other two acts. Al and Dolorean gave one of the best performances I have seen yet with Jon from Jackstraw on acoustic. It added a much more percussive element to the usually airy Dolorean sound. And Matt Bauer from NYC presented a haunting and interesting juxtaposition of banjo, electric guitar and dark melodies. Cool stuff!
