Tonight at Holocene, Horse Feathers play their new album release party with Dolorean and Matt Bauer.
As much as I enjoy Horse Feathers I have to say that Al James’ and his band Dolorean are a much overlooked band here in Portland. To coin a clichéd phrase it’s a crime that there isn’t more awareness for these guys and their music. Whatever your tastes in music tonight this is a very strong bill and worthy of your money and time.
My first hour on this week’s New Music Hour on Portland’s 94.7FM includes Radiohead, a remix of Reckoner by new Portland transplants Microfilm, a Midnight Juggernauts remix by Danger, Portland outfits Parenthetical Girls and Jared Mees as well as a new cut from the new Anthony & The Johnsons EP, ‘Another World.’ I’m on air with resident DJ Squid every Tuesday and Thursday at 8PM.
